Bill Price, our Proprietor and owner of renowned wineries such as Three Sticks, Kistler, and Gary Farrell, offers a wealth of experience with the wine industry and a high standard for quality. “I started Head High in 2009 with the idea that excellent wine could be enjoyed for a fair price.” Our Sonoma-sourced wines, proudly certified ocean-positive, embody our dedication to environmental responsibility and excellence. Bill cherishes working with our incredible team, where we have the freedom to experiment and create unique, small-batch wines like our Syrah and Viognier in the Shoreline Series. He enjoys Head High during some relaxation after a hike or enjoyed on the porch with a good book, embodying our brand’s purposeful ethos.

Prema Kerollis

As co-founder of Head High, Prema is a guiding light behind the brand. “The people in our company set it apart first and foremost. We are excellent human beings, farmers, winemakers, marketers, and strategists. We are also extremely fun to be around. We are magnetic, and we love wine.” She finds fulfillment in her role, particularly in storytelling and upholding the company’s integrity. Whether in Sonoma or elsewhere, she delights in life’s simple pleasures— quality time with loved ones, notably her teenage son Ryder, French bulldog Doug, music, dancing, and delectable cuisine with a glass of Head High Chardonnay in hand, always. 

Rob Harris

Beginning his tenure in 2009, Rob, the Lorax of our vineyards (he’s short, and he can be grumpy), is incredibly dedicated to our land and our grape vines. “Our grape-to-glass program of varietally specific fruit and resulting wines sets us apart from most in our industry category. Our fruit is grown and sourced specifically and with cause.” He takes pride in the organization’s commitment to people and producing wines true to their varietal roots. Rob finds fulfillment in working with outside growers and gaining insights from the other side of the industry. Beyond work, he’s devoted to family, friends, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Grateful Dead.

Colette Fay Simpson

general manager

Colette, a team member since 2015, treasures Head High’s unparalleled culture. “I know that sounds cliché, but there is truly no better culture than this organization. We are a group of dedicated human beings who take pride in our work and care about one another.” She finds joy in the ever-changing challenges of her role, continually learning and growing within the organization. Outside of work, Colette’s world revolves around her little toe-headed firecracker of a daughter. When time permits, you can find her golfing, boating on Lake Tahoe, and enjoying leisurely dinners with loved ones enjoying our Head High Chardonnay.

Britt Richards

Britt has been the winemaker for Head High Wines since her first vintage in 2018. She embraces a minimalist approach to winemaking, allowing the fruit’s purity to shine. “What sets Head High apart is its fun-spirited devotion to great wine and meaningful causes.” Britt loves the continuous pursuit of improvement and creativity in her role. When she is not making our delicious wines, she enjoys spending time with her kids, playing sports, cooking, and living life to the fullest. Currently, she’s savoring our Skin Contact White Wine, slightly chilled, in her mom’s backyard by the pool.

Brendan Jin

Brendan joined Head High Wines in May 2022. He believes the company’s small but mighty team and exceptional wines set them apart in the industry. Brendan enjoys interacting with customers, especially “getting to see their faces when they try our wine and also educating them about Sonoma County. I love engaging with customers and picking their brains about Sonoma County wines, especially with Head High”. His unwavering commitment to excellence and passion for wine contribute to the continued success and prominence of Head High in the market. Outside of work, he loves golf, outdoor activities, and surfing. Brendan’s favorite way to enjoy Head High Chardonnay is on a patio with friends, soaking in the sun.

Greg Meyer

Since 2019, Greg has been key to our connection to the Southeast in the US. He appreciates Head High’s entrepreneurial vibe, allowing for flexibility and proactive approaches. Greg relishes being part of a stellar team and enjoys engaging with customers and restaurants and traveling the nation showcasing our wines. “We deliver on the promise of making really nice wines at a great price.” Outside work, Greg prioritizes family, enjoys running, walking his dogs, and a good read, sometimes even with a glass of Head High’s Chardonnay in hand. 

Stephanie Brereton

Stephanie joined Head High in 2023, enticed by its exceptional wines and commitment to sustainability. She revels in the brand’s vibrant culture, where creativity thrives alongside camaraderie. Beyond work, Stephanie indulges in her passions—photography, adventures in nature, and, most importantly, quality time with her daughter—usually a good dance party to any Taylor Swift song paired with the Head High Pinot. “We are a brand that cares about our planet, and the sustainable efforts we have in place to help better our world mean everything to me. I want to leave where we live better than it is now for my girl; Head High is helping do that.” 

Kate Benziger

Kate joined Head High in 2023, drawn by great Sonoma County wines at affordable prices while championing environmental sustainability. “Head High is a place where we can be ourselves, have fun, and make a meaningful impact, all while drinking great wine.” Outside of work, Kate’s time is dedicated to her beloved Golden Doodles, Cash & Otis, savoring the simple joys of life, whether at the beach, in the park, or on a hike. Currently, she delights in the Skin Contact White Wine, finding relaxation by the pool on weekends—a perfect complement to her leisure time.

Natalie Price

A second-generation vintner, Natalie joined Head High Wines in 2023. She believes the company’s dedication to the ocean and its laid-back style set it apart in the industry. Head High is the perfect wine brand for Millennials and Gen Zer’s, offering a fun and experiential way to explore the world of wine. “I love getting to travel the country and seeing how the wines are received in different places. To connect with people who love the wines, whether they are surfers who heard about us in Hawaii, or restaurant owners who love serving our wines by the glass, Head High has its fans all over.” Outside of spreading the Head High love she enjoys movies, theater, and traveling for fun. Her favorite way to enjoy Head High Pinot Noir is chilled on a warm summer night, ideally outside with friends.

Kaleigh Gilchrist

Born and raised in Newport Beach, California, Kaleigh Gilchrist hit the water at an early age and never looked back. It has been the unique blend of playing water polo, surfing, and a powerful internal competitive spirit that has brought Kaleigh to where she is today. Kaleigh fell in love with both sports at the age of eight and continued to excel through her junior career. She traveled the world for surfing and was winning water polo championships in the pool. She topped off her junior surfing career with an unprecedented back-to-back USA U-18 Championship.
